What is Juvederm?
Juvederm is a non-surgical, gel filler used to smooth wrinkles and plump desired areas. It is made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found throughout the body. It is safe for people of all complexions and results are instantaneous.
What is Botox?
BOTOX Cosmetic works beneath the skin’s surface and targets the underlying muscle activity that causes frown lines and crow’s feet to form over time. A substance called acetylcholine is released during the BOTOX injection. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe wrinkles to form
How long do results last?
While every person is different there are general guidelines for both Botox and Juvederm. For most patients, Botox results last 3-4 months. Juvederm on the other hand has results that last 9-12 months.
How does Botox work?
Botox injections of botulinum toxin blocks certain chemical signals from nerves. This causes the muscles around the injection to temporarily relax. The relaxed muscles in targeted areas of the face will reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Is Botox safe?
When performed by a licensed doctor like Dr. Gairhan, Botox injections are relatively safe. While it is true that botulinum toxin can be dangerous in large doses, the doses administered by Dr. Gairhan are small, safe, and effective.
What are common side effects of Botox?
While adverse reactions are extremely rare among Botox patients, there are a few potential side effects more commonly experienced. While most patients have extremely mild or no side effects, some patients may experience temporary pain, swelling, or bruising at the injection site. Some patients may also experience temporary difficulty swallowing normally.
